What We Believe
* We believe that the Bible is God's holy, infallible, and complete Word, and that He inspired chosen men to write each word. (2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;)* We believe that Jesus Christ, God's only Son, came to earth through physical birth, was sinless, suffered, and died for you and me. We also believe that He took your place and mine on the cross to pay for every sin we ever committed or ever will commit. (Hebrews 10:12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,)* We believe that God has provided everything that we need, through His Son Jesus Christ, so we can receive eternal life, and that if we try to add our own good works to the cross of Christ, we are voiding the full payment He alone has made. (Titus 3:5a - He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy)* We believe that whoever has chosen to trust on the death of Jesus Christ alone as total and complete payment for all their sins, receives eternal life from God. (John 6:47 - Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.)* We believe that "eternal" means forever and never-ending, and that it cannot be given back or lost. (John 10:28 - and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.)* We believe that there is a literal heaven and literal hell and that unless you and I believe ON the death of Jesus ALONE for our salvation, we will spend our eternity in hell as punishment for our sin. (Revelation 19:20b - these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.) * We also believe that you and I can KNOW without a doubt, BEFORE we die, that we will be in heaven. (1 John 5:13b - you may KNOW that you HAVE eternal life.)
